Wine tasting day tour
Departure from Scuderie. After passing through old roads and paths of woodlands you reach “Val Calanna” where 1992 the braided lava flows began to flow in to keep the lava from flowing towards the village Zafferana. You will reach the famous “Ilice di Carrinu”, a beautiful large and old tree about 700 years old. After a short photo stop you ride in direction Milo, where you will reach the beautiful vineyard “Barone di Villagrande” and enjoy a wine tasting with typical Sicilian foods. Afterwards you will discover on horseback the vineyards in the surroundings, and you continue to ride through chestnuts and oak forest before you will reach your starting point of your excursion.

Skill level: Intermediate
6 to 7 hours on horseback
Ability description: Intermediate, confident and in control at all paces. Comfortable in the saddle for 6 hours or longer. Please indicate health condition in your reservation.
